Takao Ifuku - Director of Sales & Marketing Japan. Takao Ifuku has the role of director of sales and marketing for Japan. In addition to sales and marketing, his responsibilities cover potential new developments in Japan. He will liaise closely with Six Senses public relations representation and report to the Chief Sales Officer in the group’s Bangkok Hub.

Prior to joining Six Senses Ifuku-san represented Mutiara Hotels & Resorts of Malaysia and Duxton Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. He also represented Dusit Hotels & Resorts in the Japanese markets. Prior to the year 2000, he represented Amari Hotels & Resorts of Thailand, and established Hotel Networks Japan.

Ifuku-san’s professional background included travel and hospitality roles. He grew through sales positions with Mandarin Oriental Group, for sales manager to being the regional manager for Japan and Korea. He also worked in Rome and Paris for Japan Travel Agency.
