Loy Krathong Day is one of the most popular festivals of Thailand celebrated annually on the full moon day of the Twelfth Lunar Month. The word “Loy” means to float and a “Krathong” is a banana leaf cup decorated with flowers and candles, then floated on a river, a pond or in the sea.
