Nothing says celebration or occasion more than sparkling wine and especially Champagne. There is something almost mythical and certainly magical about those tiny bubbles that are difficult to fully explain. What is easy to explain is the joy that sparkling wines give both on their own as well as to a whole host of ingredients and food styles. We are delighted to have an entire evening dedicated to the most celebrated and often enjoyable of wine styles.

Festive Fizz is the perfect evening being held at the perfect time of year. Like any other area of wine, sparkling covers such a mix of styles yet the accompanying joy and happiness is unique. Our Sommelier, Niall Keddie, with support from one of our supplier friends, Central Food Retail, is truly excited to have designed this special event. Six have been chosen including two from top Champagne house Duval-Leroy which explore this realm and take us on a memorable journey. If you think all Champagnes and sparkling wines are ‘brut’ or dry then think again as included is one slightly sweeter and one of the best sparkling reds that Niall has been lucky enough to taste. It is not right to focus purely on the wines, however understandable that may be, which is where our Executive Chef, Andrew Mann, comes in. With nearly 20 years experience and his passion and culinary intelligence, Andrew has created a special menu fitting for such beautiful wines.
