An important role of Evason Phuket is to increase the environmental awareness of both hosts and guests. By improving the environmental awareness we believe that hosts will take ownership and exceeding the environmental benchmarks.

Every host have to go through Six Senses Mandatory Environmental Awareness training, the Green Module, a general introduction to the importance of environmental conscience.
Every host have to go through Evason Phuket's Environmental Training, which deals with waste separation, composting, water saving and energy saving.
Front line hosts is trained on Evason Phuket's social and environmental efforts
All hosts are divided into 4 Houses namely Aqua, Fire, Earth and Wind. These teams compete on a monthly basis for point they can achieve, amongst them social and environmental activities. The 4 Houses have been empowered to take care of part of the social and environmental responsibility fund, around 400,000 Baht (US$ 10,000), which they decide what social and environmental projects it should be spent on.
Environmental information are displayed on notice boards for hosts
Signage around the property is set up encouraging guests not to harm the environment
Each room has been equipped with a Little Green Book where Evason Phuket's environmental efforts are explained together with suggestion on how guests can help preserving the environment
A Nature compendium is also available in the guest rooms
A Nature Trail is set up where guests can explore the natural beauty of Evason Phuket as well as learning about the flora and fauna
Thai cooking classes and batik painting classes are regularly conducted for guests
Traditional Thai ceremonies are arranged at appropriate date where guests learn about Thai traditions and customs
Involvement of guests in the various social and environmental activities, such as mangrove planting, local school visits and visits to charities
Evason Phuket has opened a Social and Environmental Charity Centre displaying the social and environmental efforts
