Six Senses Hideaway Samui has the reputation for serving some of the best food on Koh Samui and uses the freshest herbs, vegetables, and organic greens from the resort’s own gardens. Dining on the Rocks is located at the tip of the headland and presents 270 degree views whilst Dining on the Hill offers regional and international cuisine. A large selection of wines from many of the world’s most respected regions is featured in the cellar.
Dining on the Hill
Located on the sunset side of the resort, Dining on the Hill is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast is a vast selection, spread over several buffet stations and includes freshly prepared and cooked to order hot specialities, freshly made juices, waffles, pancakes and Asian delicacies. Lunch is focused on the Balanced Cuisine approach with an emphasis on taste. In the evenings be prepared for the best 'Thai' Thai food on the island as we pride ourselves on preparing Thai favourites the way they should be. The restaurant includes two different styles of seating, regular tables and Daybed Niches.
Dining on the Hill is also the venue for our weekly themed evenings, including a Thai experience evening of freshly prepared salad, desserts and live cooking station of wok cooked dishes complete with a traditional Thai dancing show. Our famous BBQ seafood night with mouth-watering fresh local Samui seafood cooked either in Thai style, or simply barbequed on the grill, is also very popular.
Dining on the Rocks
The award-winning restaurant of Six Senses Hideaway Samui, Dining on the Rocks, established its reputation and fame by offering New Asian Cuisine coupled with a stunning panoramic view over the Gulf of Siam.
Raising the bar even higher, the latest innovation to come out of the kitchen is called Modern Interpretive Cuisine. Tried, trusted, original recipes are given a new slant in imaginative ways; so what you think you are getting is not that at all. Dishes are reconstructed to be both visually and texturally appealing. Taste and a focus on fresh, wholesome, local ingredients are tantamount in importance.
The restaurant architecture is unique in that it consists of nine terraced decks of weathered teak and bamboo, combining open air and covered seating areas. The view is an uninterrupted 270 degree panorama of the surrounding islands and ocean.

Looking for a nice bottle of wine to accompany your lunch or dinner? Have a wander into Wines on the Hill. Our wine cellar boasts the largest selection in Koh Samui with around 300 different labels available, ranging from Bordeaux classics such as Chateau Palmer and Chateau Mouton Rothschild, to New World favourites such as Cloudy Bay from New Zealand and Cape Mentelle from Australia. You can also try a few wines you may not have seen before as we also stock wines from South Africa, Spain, Italy, Germany, Chile, Argentina, United States of America and Mexico to name a few
