An important role of Six Senses Hideaway Yao Noi is to increase the environmental awareness of both hosts and guests. By improving the environmental awareness we believe that hosts will take ownership and exceed the environmental benchmarks.

• Every host has to go through Six Senses Mandatory Environmental Awareness training which includes the Green Module - a general introduction to the importance of environmental conscience
• Every host has to go through environmental training with regard to waste separation, composting, water saving and energy saving
• Front line hosts are trained on Six Senses Hideaway Yao Noi's social and environmental efforts
• All hosts are divided into 4 Houses. These teams compete on a monthly basis for points they can achieve, including social and environmental activities
• Environmental information is displayed on notice boards for hosts
• Signage around the property is set up encouraging guests not to harm the environment
• Each room has been equipped with a Little Green Book where Six Senses Hideaway Yao Noi's environmental efforts are explained together with suggestions on how guests can help preserve the environment
• A Nature Compendium is also available in the guest rooms
• A Nature Trail is set up where guests can explore the natural beauty of Six Senses Hideaway Yao Noi as well as learn about the flora and fauna
• Thai cooking classes and batik painting classes are regularly conducted for guests
• Traditional Thai ceremonies are arranged at appropriate dates where guests learn about Thai traditions and customs
• Involvement of guests in the various social and environmental activities, such as eco-tours
