A central part of Evason Hideaway & Six Senses Spa at Yao Noi and Six Senses' philosophy is to give something back to the local community in which we operate. For this reason, we set aside for social and environmental purposes the Social and Environmental Responsibility Fund:

- 0.5% of the revenue

A selection of our activities is listed below:

• From before the opening we have offered English language and technical training for free to local people
• Waste management project for the whole of Yao Noi Island in cooperation with the Advisory Board of Koh Yao Noi
• Arranging beach cleaning activities on a regular basis
• Encouraging guests to off-set their carbon emissions from flying with Six Senses Carbon Offset Programme through Converging World
• Encouraging guests to donate to Care for Children
• Offering job opportunities to the local community
• Giving preference to local suppliers and locally sourced products
