NEW EXECUTIVE CHEF AT SONEVA KIRI - Stephen Quinn
Stephen has had a long and varied career with spells in five star hotels in London and Hamburg during his early career with the Hilton, Four Seasons and Kempinski hotels training in Michelin starred restaurants.
Stephen has worked in many sectors of the catering industry at a high level with his first head chef post at the prestigious gentleman’s club, Brooks’s in London. Stephen was elected chairman of the UK’s premier chefs association, the Craft Guild of Chefs, where he founded the Craft Guild of Chefs awards, the chefs Oscar.
Stephen was executive chef for Marriott hotels in London until he headed to Asia and Manila in the Philippines where he headed up the culinary operation of a the Azzuro group. Upon his return to Europe Stephen became executive chef for development for Restaurant Associates in London establishing many great kitchens in top global companies.
Stephen moved on to become culinary director for a well known group of Japanese restaurants and they became the must dine venue in the City of London.
Stephen has recently been running City Dining, an event caterer in London catering for guests such as Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales, Boris Johnson, the Mayor London and celebrities. Now in Thailand on the Island of Koh Kood Stephen is show casing his culinary skills in the world class venues of Soneva Kiri resort
