Visiting Kim Son Pagoda
A charity trip from the heart of our hosts
At the end of August 2013, Evason Ana Mandara Nha trang donated school bags, notebooks and homemade cookies to the forty-five deserving young students who are staying and studying at the Kim Son Pagoda, which is in their region.
As part of our continuous support to communities, Evason Ana Mandara Resort Nha Trang has actively participated in annual social activities such as offering clean water, school materials and gifts to the elderly, orphans or disadvantaged families in rural, mountainous and remote areas. The Resort’s activities are regularly maintained and have brought practical significance to the communities in the province.
On the 30th of August the management team of Evason Ana Mandara paid a visit to Kim Son Pagoda, 2 km from Nha Trang city center, Vietnam. This Pagoda has been established as a principal educational facility for Buddhist orphans and the needy in Nha Trang City. This wonderful organization offers free primary school education at their charity school, plus free tailoring training at their vocational center.
Founded in 1994 by Buddhist nun Thich Nu Dieu Phuc, it has long been a loving home for local youngsters. On this occasion, Evason Ana Mandara donated school bags, notebooks and cookies to forty-five students. These gifts, although modest, are a token of the resort’s spirit of “compassionate solidarity” and “good leaves protect torn leaves”. It is a source of material and spiritual encouragement to children; giving them encouragement and support that will help them overcome future challenges.
