When to Visit


The High season in Jordan is March to May. As of February when the winter comes it is a perfect time to visit the Ma’In hot springs for which Evason Ma'In is the official custodian. October to November is olive harvesting. In July Evason Ma'In Hot Springs celebrates the Jerash Festival, with artists from Jordan, Arabia and beyond.

Olive Harvesting - Guest are more than welcome to join in the picking and watch the process of making olive oil.

Vegetable Harvesting - Teams are gathered together to harvest our locally and organically grown vegetables from our very own organic garden

Festive Seasons

Karak Festival - Celebration of Mansaf and Jameed in the beautiful lKarak Castle.


Jerash Festival - Featuring music and dance performances by prominent artists from Jordan, the Arab region and beyond.  Holy month of Ramadan - the greatest religious observance in Islam, is an annual month of fasting. (Dates change each year)


Eid Al Fitr - This is a Muslim holiday that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting. (Dates change each year)


Eid al-Adha -  This is the latter of two Eid festivals. Festival of Sacrifice or Greater Eid is an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide.

4. Eid Al Fiter- (exact dates to be confirmed before holiday) - 9th - 12th August
5. Eid Al Adha- (exact dates to be confirmed before holiday) - 15th - 19th November
6. Christmas Eve - 25th December

 In 2013 Ramadan is from 10th July - 9th August but is not a public holiday.  Ramadan is usuallly between June - September, however it varies every year.
