Courchevel is an ideal year-round destination for families. Surrounded by beautiful mountains, peaceful woods and sparkling blue lakes the summertime offers a wealth of activities for all ages and family members. Horse riding, cycling, short family hikes in glorious nature parks, high rope courses and swimming are just some of the numerous fun things on offer.
The snow season gives youngsters the opportunity to learn to ski, which can be a very family orientated activity. There’s also snowboarding and snowshoeing, sledging and night skiing. For a little bit more adventure, perhaps a husky dog-sled ride. There is also an indoor ice-skating rink in Courchevel and basketball at the multi-activity sports center.
No matter what the season, there’s fun aplenty for youngsters. In winter there's sledging, ice skating, bowling, swimming, snowman building, pony rides and climbing. Summer time offers archery, horse riding, tennis, climbing, paintball, cycling, kayaking and tree-climbing/zip wires. The Explorers kids club managed by Scott Dunn offers a flexible program for younger guests from 4 months up to 11 years old.
