Out and About

Fancy a morning workout? Why not take a bike out with our Experience Team and explore the local neighbourhood of Plai Laem, visiting Plai Laem Temple, Big Buddha and Bangrak market. Not forgetting some pocket money to savour a local breakfast, or even enjoy some light shopping! Mountain bikes are freely available for your enjoyment, all we ask is to be careful, wear a helmet and abide to the local highway code. The roads in and around Samui come with a fare few hazards, so remain alert for street dog, loose gravel and the occasional hole from time to time.

Samui Highlights

Explore the island’s natural beauty and treasures with your personal driver, where we will happily prepare a picnic hamper and refreshments for your journey. There are various highlights along the 3-hour route, amongst other less known and even a few obscure, including:

  • Big Buddha Temple
  • Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks

Thai Boxing

Muay Thai is a form of martial arts that is both graceful and lethal. Practiced since ancient times, Muay Thai has become an integral part of Thailand’s cultural heritage. Learn Thai boxing from our trainer, who will teach the basics of this Thai-style fighting to beginners and help you evolve your techniques to a more advanced level if you have already had some experience.

Fitness Boot Camp

The fitness boot camp is a type of physical training program conducted by our in-house personal trainer. These programs are designed to build strength and fitness through a variety of intense group intervals within one hour period of time. It commences with dynamic stretching and running around the resort’s buggy path, followed by a wide variety of interval training, including lifting weights/objects, pulling TRX straps, push-ups/sit-ups, plyometric, various types of intense explosive routines in the O2 Gym. The session ends with yoga stretching to cool your body down.
