Introducing Syrah Rosé
A new generation of delightful Thai wines
The recent release of a 2013 Syrah Rosé wine, bottled exclusively for Six Senses Yao Noi, is yours to enjoy at the resort or take with you to recall wonderful times. This follows the much lauded launch of Six Senses Yao Noi Chenin Blanc in 2012.
These new generation of Thai wines have proved to be exceptionally popular with guests. Both wines have resulted from collaboration between Six Senses Yao Noi and Thailand’s most dynamic and youngest winemaker, Nikki Lohitnavy. The result on each occasion delivered easy-drinking wines that express a delightful freshness, especially suited to warmer climes.
The fruit profil of the Syrah Rosé is juicy, while being dry and mouth filling, leaving a delicious, long tutti-frutty finish. The Chenin Blanc shows forward aromas of tropical fruit like pineapple, along with zesty citrus and delicate white floral notes. On the palate, the wine is juicy and carries a hint of residual sweetness making it a perfect match to many of the classic Thai spices and flavors.
