To visit the Seychelles Islands, you don’t have to have a visa, but you do have to have some documentation. When you arrive at the Seychelles Airport you must have your return ticket, evidence of accommodation including contact information, and proof of funding for your stay.
These documents will allow you to have a Visitor’s Permit, which will be issued by the Seychelles Department of Immigration when you arrive. A Visitor’s Permit is valid for the first month you are in the Seychelles. However, it can be extended up to three months. If you need to stay more than three months (up to 12 months), you will have to apply for a special visa. Seychelles officials can tell you which documents are necessary. For every three months you want to extend your stay, you will have to pay 1,000 Seychelles Rupees. This means if you need your Visitor’s Permit extended for six months, you will have to pay 1,000 Seychelles Rupees twice.
