Therapeutic Change
This is for clients who have specific injuries or acute pain that is affecting their daily life; Muscle strain, spasm, acute lower back and neck pain or recent sports injuries. The techniques such as A.I.S. deep tissue massage, strain counter strain, and lymphatic drainage are all targeted to reduce pain and educate clients on self-care exercise and management. During the evaluation, if other more serious problems area are detected, a prompt referral to the appropriate professionals will result.

Condition Management
This is for those customers with ongoing postural abnormalities such as scoliosis, kyphosis or general tightness due to repetitive motions. Also, it is very helpful in the continued rehabilitation of previous surgeries or old injuries that haven’t fully recovered. Sessions are focused on both local and global factors affecting alignment and normal movement. They can include extensive A.I.S. protocols, specific strengthening routines and implementation of home exercise and care routines if the client wishes.

General Maintenance
For clients who want to enjoy the many benefits of direct bodywork such as immediate relaxation and general promotion of flexibility, this session can be composed of A.I.S. protocols that will be applied generally to all areas of the body, encouraging the client to breath and engauge with each motion. The positive effects of gentle active movements on the nervous, lymphatic, and musculoskeletal system are well supported for relaxation and recovery. Deep tissue massage techniques can be added during the session to enhance the effect. Clients who prefer a passive experience can enjoy a deep tissue or sports massage that is applied though clothing without lotions or oils to maximize focus on fascia. This is an ideal treatment for people with no specific goals, injury or pain issues, or people who are curious about how to begin a mobility practice. The A.I.S. technique is user-friendly and can be easily taught to all ages.
