March 9, 2022 - With Vietnam opening its borders soon, everyone is invited aboard the Vooc Village kids’ club adventure at Six Senses Ninh Van Bay. Oh, except parents! Definitely no parents!
Named after the Vietnamese langur and resort mascot, the Vooc Village keeps its younger guests entertained daily from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. They’ll be able to hang upside down at the jungle gym, splash around in the aqua gym, or enjoy supervised games or craft-making in the indoor play center.
As part of our group-wide initiative, Six Senses Ninh Van Bay has introduced an exciting kids’ journey with a huge range of arts, crafts, discovery, sports, ecology, and other outdoor activities. These incorporate the six dimensions of wellness (social, environmental, physical, spiritual, emotional, and intellectual) to reconnect with nature and gain useful life skills through play.
Children will find everything from the active (organic gardening, yoga, little mixologist, being a therapist, junior photographer) to the relaxing (foot massage, herbal ball compress, make your own body scrub), and the creative with a local twist (traditional Vietnamese origami and snacks, Hoi An lantern making and trying to play traditional Vietnamese musical instruments).
Never too young to inspire a passion for protecting nature, children can build their own coral reef, be a farmer, make beeswax wraps and homemade soaps, join an essential oil workshop, and learn about langurs with the resident biologist.
While journeying through each activity, children will receive a new stamp for their passport, which they receive on arrival, with a final surprise for when they collect enough stamps.
“The special Grow With Six Senses passport combines exploration, conservation, crafts, and sport into a fun and educational schedule that takes children to all corners of the resort; it’s the kind of program that makes you want to be a kid again. Sadly, parents cannot apply!” says General Manager Andrew Whiffen. “Vooc Village is the first of its kind in Vietnam, and our aim is to keep the kids off their screens and entertained in a more traditional way. It’s also a great way to give parents a chance to relax, recharge, and enjoy other activities at the resort.”
In your villa itself, your children will receive special amenities such as child-sized bathrobes, slippers, and bamboo conical hats. Additionally, you can request a range of items to keep your little ones entertained from toys, bedtime storybooks, langur sleeping eye masks to “in-villa camping” for a unique sleepover experience.
Outside your villa, Six Senses Ninh Van Bay enjoys 58-hectares of natural wilderness that invites discovery and exploration, from the towering mountains and golden sand beach with coral reefs to its extensive organic garden with a chicken farm, an alembic for making essential oils, and the Alchemy Bar at Six Senses Spa.
Sleeping nine guests, the three-bedroom Water Reserve – comprising three free-standing pavilions – is set on dramatic rock formations right on the water’s edge of a private bay, with spectacular and uninterrupted sunset views. Completely secluded, the villa can be accessed by a private speedboat or walkway.
