Mini guardians of our green galaxy

March 9, 2022 - Thailand is open for tourism once again. So, get your wellies on and capes ready, and answer our call to join the three-day Junior Eco Warrior program at Six Senses Yao Noi.

Our Junior Eco Warrior program at Six Senses Yao Noi is sure to keep budding conservationists busy during your vacation. It’s a three-day mission to learn what it takes to protect the environment.

Farm fun

The mission starts down on the farm, collecting eggs from our chickens and ducks and making sure Kevin the goat has been keeping his den clean. It’s then time to roll the sleeves up and learn how to sow seeds and pick some organic veggies ready for a fun and interactive cooking class at the Chef’s Table.

Nature play

Today’s adventure begins down on the beach, finding out about how trash can be turned into treasure. For example, old wood from our villas is given a second life in the form of Hornbill Villas for our VIP feathered friends and residents. There’s even a chance to see them in their natural habitat, as well as a fun maze in the mangroves to spot wildlife (and say hi to Jason, our monitor lizard) along the way. The expedition is hungry work, so what better way to experience nature than with a picnic overlooking the iconic limestone karsts of Phang Nga Bay?

Re-creation day

The quest to save the world continues with another exciting day, starting in the Mushroom Hut to learn how to make eco-bricks and mosquito repellent with ingredients from our own garden. Remnant wax can be recycled into new candles, glass bottles can be turned into pretty pots and lunch can be foraged from surprising sources: we teach you how.

“The Junior Eco Warrior program is a rewarding experience for our younger guests to gain insightful knowledge in a recreational way,” said Graham Grant, General Manager of Six Senses Yao Noi. “Having their children engaged for half a day allows parents to enjoy some precious ‘me time’ too, dipping in the pool or embarking on a wellness journey without worries.”

The Junior Eco Warrior Program features various sustainability activities, over a three-day rotational itinerary from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm daily.

Ocean Retreat

With views overlooking the iconic limestone karsts of Phang Nga Bay, the three-bedroom Ocean Retreat has the option of a connecting one-bedroom Ocean Deluxe Pool Villa to sleep up to 10 guests. Featuring a spacious living room and expansive infinity pool with sun deck, plus an additional infinity pool in the connecting villa, this villa is perfect for larger groups and multi-generational families.

Extended Stay - Five Nights

Stay for five fabulous nights or longer in the Pool Villa of your choice and receive up to 15 percent off the Best Flexible Rate, plus complimentary breakfast. And if you make your booking in advance (depending on the season), you’ll save even more!
