Six Senses Duxton Experiences

Discover the Neighbourhood

Six Senses Duxton and Six Senses Maxwell are both located in the richly steeped heritage neighborhood of Tanjong Pagar, just a few minutes' walk from each other. In Malay, Tanjong Pagar means "cape of stakes", a name which reflects its origins as a fishing village situated on a promontory. For many years, it was an enclave for thousands of migrant dock workers. It was also lucrative ground for rickshaw pullers. So prevalent was their presence that in 1904, the government established a Jinrikisha Station at the junction of Tanjong Pagar Road and Neil Road.

Duration

Approximately 30 minutes with a distance of 1.6 kilometres.
