There is nothing better for your immune system and overall well-being than sleep, so our dynamic duo uncover how Six Senses Zighy Bay can help you out. Andy shows how the villa is set up to promote sleep through all the finer details such as air flow and lighting through to the mattress and linens. Beside the bed are snooze-inducing amenities such as macadamia nuts and cherries to keep your blood sugar levels stable and boost melatonin.
The sleep tracker is a Kindle-sized device that sits unobtrusively by the side of your bed and uses unobtrusive sonar technology to measure your breathing as you go into the different stages of sleep. The sleep bag includes a Little Book of Wellness with a journal to clear your mind before you go to bed, a lavender eye pillow, blended essential oils, tips and advice.
Andy also shares his personal results (and the reasons why they were rubbish!) and explains the app that retains your data so you can take it back home to make life-long changes.
The hosts are also on hand to answer live questions such as “Can you sleep too much?”, “Can you track improvements as you go from one Six Senses resort to another?” and “Is the Sleep program very intense?”.
