Guided Snorkels
The coral reefs and seagrass meadows of the Laamu atoll are rich in color and beautiful marine life. The marine biologists at the Maldives Underwater Initiative invite you to join on their daily research surveys where you will help them record megafauna sightings (the big stuff, like turtles, sharks and rays). You’ll become a citizen scientist and they’ll point out interesting marine creatures and answer any questions you may have.
Explore Six Senses Laamu’s protected house reef from Mondays to Saturdays or join on the special seagrass snorkel on Sundays. Private snorkels with our marine biologists are also available on request.
