Sun worshippers tend to visit from October to April, although there are plenty of reasons to join us all year round. Diving season runs from October to April. The best time to spot manta rays is May to October. We celebrate all the Thai holidays including Songkran in April and Loy Kratong, our highlight full moon festival in November.
Songkran Festival. Toast the Thai New Year during Songkran, our water festival, where giant water sprays serve as a great way to cool down in the afternoon heat. It coincides with Easter, so join us for egg hunts and painting with ice cream rewards for all.
Vegetarian Festival. This is a chance to immerse into all things local, from delicious vegetarian treats to the music on the streets. We can arrange for transport to Phuket Town so you can watch the parade and eat your fill of fascinating fare.
Loy Krathong Festival. This takes place on the evening of the full moon of the 12th month in the traditional Thai lunar calendar. Help us release beautiful krathong rafts made from banana leaves onto the waters, accompanied with a parade and drum band.
Christmas and New Year. We add a tropical twist to traditional fare for a festive vibe and activities the whole family will love. New Year’s Eve is a colorful evening with a fun-filled gala event and special countdown to midnight on Mai Thai Beach.
