Move along, stay strong

If you’re in a part of the hemisphere where cooler temperatures are just around the corner, your warm up and regular exercise are even more important. Dr. Chet Collins, whose track record for relieving and correcting persistent physical concerns with motion therapy have earned him a reputation as ‘Dr. Magic Hands’, shares his advice when it comes to keeping our bodies strong and healthy.

  1. Stay strong, or get stronger if you are not. Strength training not only improves your ability to do the things you want to do, it also improves your overall energy. This is not about becoming a body builder; it is about loving the body you have.
  2. Keep stiffness at bay. Join a stretching class, yoga class or other activities that regularly require you to improve your mobility. You can only use your strength within the range of motion that you have.
  3. Keep moving. Regularly enjoy physical activities that bring enjoyment to you. This helps you moderate the stresses of daily life.

Dr. Chet’s philosophy is simple: “It’s all about results!” Combining years of hands-on therapy and clinical chiropractic experience with an in-depth understanding of human movement, sport and exercise physiology, he can provide you with immediate relief and long-term solutions for your physical needs. He is passionate about helping you discover freedom of movement, and relieve and correct persistent physical problems.

Six Senses Fusioneticsis a sports science platform that looks at your movement patterns to identify areas of strength and weakness. This helps us to design a bespoke workout plan that ensures your body is aligned, optimizes your training performance and reduces the risk of injury. Our personalized programs can incorporate elements to challenge and build your muscle tone, stamina and sports performance.
