During your consultation, you will learn about the four properties of food – hot, warm, cool and cold – as well as the healing effects of the five flavors. Certain types of foods are more beneficial to your health at different times and depending on your condition and body type. You will also receive advice on a few types of food to avoid or add into your diet, and how to supplement with acupuncture or herbs, which are available in the dispensary.
