Aside from the organic farm which produces much of the resort’s produce, there is also on-island bottling plant providing drinking water through reverse osmosis in reuseable glass bottles. Outside the resort, we're proactive in the local community by supporting education projects, social activities and marine conservation.
All Six Senses resorts produce still and sparkling drinking water for guests and hosts to minimize the carbon footprint that results from the packaging and transport of water - it tastes great too. On the main land, we tend a 40,000 square feet (3,700 square meters) organic garden in which fresh produce is grown for kitchen ingredients, thus encouraging a farm-to-table practice. Our hosts also tend small herb gardens which are blended into the island's natural vegetation and landscape.
We work hand in hand with our local Khmer communities to support school programs and participate in development initiatives.
