Your Laamu experience begins with arrival at Male' International Airport where our airport representative will be waiting for you outside the arrival hall. You then will be accompanied directly to the domestic terminal or the Island Aviation Lounge, which is just a two minute stroll from the arrival hall. A flight of approximately 35 minutes allows you to experience a bird’s eye view of the beautiful Maldives archipelago. Our Guest Experience manager will welcome you at the Domestic Airport and a 20-minute speedboat ride will take you to the resort
Resort Transfers and Transfer Fee:
Round-trip transfers between Male’s International Airport and the resort are by domestic commercial flight followed by a speed boat transfer to Six Senses Laamu, totalling USD 360.00 + 18% tax and service charge per person until 31st October 2013 and USD 385 + 18% tax and service charge per person from 1st November 2013 onwards. This will be arranged and booked accordingly by the resort upon making a reservation.

A thirty day free visa is issued on arrival for all nationalities, provided the following conditions are met. The visitor entering Maldives should posses a valid passport and have a valid ticket to continue the journey out of Maldives within 30 days.

Dhivehi, a language spoken only in Maldives, is as exotic as it sounds. With a strong Arabic influence, it has its own script. Since the 1960s, English has become widely understood, spoken and written by locals.
It is illegal to bring alcohol and pork into Maldives - they will be removed from your luggage before you enter the country. Guest are also prohibited to travel with dogs in Maldives.
