Six Senses Kyoto introduces its inaugural parfait featuring Minimal chocolate, a sustainable specialty bean-to-bar chocolatier from Japan.
The top layer features a high-cacao crème au chocolat made with "Fruity – Madagascar", a chocolate that highlights the natural berry and dark fruit notes of the cacao bean. These flavors lead into layers of strawberry and tea before reaching a base of "Nutty – Sweet" crème au chocolat, characterized by toasted nut aromas and a vanilla-like sweetness.
The ice cream combines banana and chocolate with house-made amazake, while the strawberries are served plain to highlight their natural seasonal flavor. By layering high-quality chocolate through various textures, the parfait creates a balance of sweetness, acidity, and bitterness for a sensational dessert experience.
