Wild Thyme Restaurant and Bar overlooks the resort lounge pool and the enchanting views of the Aegean Sea. Offering Turkish, Ottoman and international specialties from an open kitchen, it is best for a casual a la carte experience both for lunch and dinner.

Meze by the Sea

Delicious seafood and Turkish mezze plates

Meze by the Sea features Aegean cuisine with a daily selection of freshly caught fish and handcrafted Turkish mezzes. The restaurant is open until September 30, 2018.

The Beach Bar

Casual beach dining with sun and sea

Get your beer bucket plus casual basket menu at Beach Bar, set at the main beach with an open bar and laid-back beach-style furniture.

The Library Bar

A cozy and comfortable ambience

Arm chairs and sofas together with low lounge tables give a fun café feel in the mornings and a classic cocktail bar ambience in the evenings on level three of the main building

Muhammed Hancabay

Executive Chef

Muhammed Hançabay has spent over a decade in the restaurant industry, gaining international training and experience alongside top talent at luxury properties throughout the world. From The Four Seasons Hotel in London and Bosphorus in Istanbul, to The Westin Mission Hills Resort & Hotel in California and most recently opening The Grand Tarabya in Istanbul, Muhammed took his diverse experience and skillset to creating a world-class kitchen and destination. Now he leads the resort's culinary team in Six Senses Kaplankaya. Chef Muhammed oversees all dining operations of the resort and he will also be ensuring the high quality of the ingredients sourced from the organic garden and Kaplankaya's surrounding areas. Perfection is his passion!

Ertunc Barlas

Restaurant Manager

After graduation from Hotel Management School at 1999 in Istanbul, Ertunc Barlas set out to discover the world. He spent eight years on board the luxury cruise lines of Royal Caribbean abd Silver Sea, developing his spirit and wine tasting skills along the way. Ertunc carried his knowledge to his hometown, with the opening of Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul and finished his MIT within eight years. He is passionate about guest satisfaction and first-rate service. Ertunc is very happy to be a part of Six Senses family at Kaplankaya.
