Sustainability at Six Senses Qing Cheng Mountain
Located at the gateway to Qingcheng Mountain, we continue to focus on our environmental performance while connecting guests with local culture and nature. Our farm supplies seasonal produce to our kitchens, and our “Happy Farm” activities introduce families and children to growing and harvesting. We filter and bottle water on site, reducing the use of single-use plastic bottles and the need to transport bottled water. Part of our revenue supports the Regenerative Impact Fund for animal rescue, elderly care, and youth education.
Environmental Responsibility
Through a range of practical actions, we bring together our hosts and guests to continuously improve the environmental performance of our operations.

Black Bear Conservation
The giant panda has long been an iconic species in global wildlife conservation. But did you know that other bear species in China also need our attention? With this in mind, we support the Sichuan Longqiao Black Bear Rescue Centre, operated by Animals Asia, which provides long-term care for Asiatic black bears, also known as moon bears, as well as a small number of other bears rescued from bear bile farms. The center provides ongoing veterinary care and long-term support in semi-natural environments. Visit Moon Bar to learn more about moon bear conservation over a cocktail.
Social Responsibility
We value building positive and meaningful connections with the local community and work with relevant public institutions and schools to support local development through education, practical funding, and community initiatives.

Welfare for the Elderly
We value meaningful connections with older members of the local community. Hosts from Six Senses Qingcheng Mountain visit local elderly care homes and create opportunities for interaction, companionship, and participation through activities such as handicrafts and gentle group exercises, while expressing our care and respect. Through this project, 75 ‘adopted Grandparents’ enjoyed various activities in 2025.

Chengdu Caring House Animal Shelter
Founded by Ms. Chen Yunlian, Chengdu Home of Love Animal Rescue Centre has been involved in stray animal rescue since 1996. Today, the center cares for more than 6,000 rescued animals, providing shelter and daily care. We regularly organize host volunteer activities and donate essential supplies to the center. Through volunteering and practical support, we contribute to the care of rescued animals and help provide for their daily needs.
