Six Senses Paro
Each season brings a special ambience that ranges from sunny days to spring flowers and magical misty mornings that add an extra depth to the environment. No matter when you visit, you'll discover the warm Bhutanese hospitality shining through your entire journey.
From December to February, Paro and Thimphu experience sunny days with clear views of incredible mountain ranges.
June to August brings light rain and lush, green landscapes. Several yoga and meditation retreats are held during this season.
September to November marks the beginning of autumn displaying clear skies and pleasant weather.
In March or April, the Paro Tshechu (festival) highlights the unfurling of the silk Thangka. In October, the three-day Thimphu Tshechu is considered an opportunity be cleansed, with the mask dance believed to invoke blessings to all who witness it.
