Book worm or oenophile? Learn the fundamentals of wine making and tasting in Portugal or enjoy the self-service wine dispensers to try some of the regions finest.
A daily wine tasting is the perfect way to ease into your wine adventure. Every day brings a different selection of wines and ports from many of the region’s top producers, expertly guided by the resort’s sommelier.
Let a winemaker take you on a deep dive into their brand and wines, while enjoying a menu paired by our wine director and chef. Journey through the valley with organic and natural wines, Portuguese grape varieties, Port wines, formidable wines from north to south, discover great names of Portugal and even how to choose the right glass.
Mourão, our neighboring property, has a secret that we are now unveiling to our guests: Port Knox, a cool wine cellar where well-stored and cared for Ports awaits. The owner of the property will greet you and guide you through a tasting from cask, including some very rare old wines. (Tip: ask about the upgrade to the 100-year-old tasting). Unique!
