Oona Series Retreat: Thriving in Sync

Oona Series Retreat: Thriving in Sync

We all have a ‘body clock’, but what does this mean, and how can we use the new science on this topic to improve our health? Our internal body clocks help our cells know what is going on and when to help regulate our organs and hormone signaling to make the most of our day’s activities and how we fuel our bodies.

These daily clocks and the timings they work with are known as circadian rhythms, and the scientific literature on the topic is rapidly growing. Working with our biological rhythms can help us tap into our natural potential, and with some simple adjustments, we can make sure we are aligned with the ebbs and flows.

In addition, hormetic stress, the concept that moderate stress can induce beneficial responses in organisms, exemplifies the profound adaptability and resilience inherent in biological systems. This phenomenon underscores the principle that what doesn't kill us makes us stronger, as organisms exposed to mild stressors activate pathways that bolster their defenses and enhance their ability to cope with subsequent challenges.

Whether it's exercise triggering muscle growth, intermittent fasting promoting cellular repair, or heat stress prompting heat shock protein production, hormetic stressors activate a cascade of adaptive mechanisms that fortify the body's capacity to withstand adversity. Embracing hormetic stress as a potent tool for optimization and growth empowering yourself to harness the inherent plasticity of our individual biology, paving the way for enhanced performance, longevity, and overall well-being.

Is this retreat right for you?

Curious minds, assemble.

We've created the Oona Series Retreat with you in mind, designing a three-day experience that will challenge your senses and create exponential growth. An intensive exploration, guiding you to discover more about who you are, how you work, and where you'd like to go.

Why? Because knowledge is power, building new perspectives and habits allows us all to bridge the gap between where we are and where we want to be. This is all about tapping into our infinite potential to feel and perform our best - within and beyond the retreat itself.
