Six Senses Fiji is located in the Mamanuca Group of Islands in Fiji, sitting a few miles offshore from Viti Levu, Fiji's largest island. One of the main advantages of the location is its proximity to the international airport at Nadi.

Your Fiji experience begins with arrival at the airport where you will be met by our Welcome Hosts at the arrival concourse after clearing immigration. From here we are pleased to be able to offer flexible options for your transfers to and from the resort. Please see below for more information on our ground, sea and air transfers.

Resort Transfers and Transfer Fees:

Private Ground Transfers
Choose from a private car for up to seven persons or a minibus for up to 22 persons and enjoy a tailored, private journey from Nadi Airport to Port Denarau.

Prices for private land transfers are as follows:

  • Car for one to three persons FJD 90 per way, per vehicle
  • Car for four to seven persons FJD 120 per way, per vehicle
  • Minibus for seven to 12 persons FJD 195 per way, per vehicle
  • Minibus for 13 to 22 persons FJD 290 per way, per vehicle

Shared Six Senses Speedboat Transfer
On arrival at Port Denarau Terminal please make your way to the South Sea Cruises check-in counter to be directed to the Six Senses jetty.  There you will be directed when to board for your shared speedboat transfer to Six Senses Fiji.

Our shared speedboats are available between 7 am and 6 pm daily, with the boat schedule set one day in advance in line with guest flight arrival times. This system aims to reduce your potential wait time and we expect your wait at Port Denarau to be between 45 minutes and 90 minutes approximately.

Prices for shared speedboat transfers are as follows:

  • Adult FJD 200 per way, per person
  • Child (aged under 12 years) FJD 100 per way, per child
  • Infant (aged under two years) free of charge

Non Scheduled Six Senses Speedboat Transfer
For an experience tailored exclusively to your booking, or for out of hours transfers we recommend booking a non scheduled Six Senses speedboat for your transfer from Port Denarau to Six Senses Fiji. These speedboats operate 24 hours a day and will be able to accommodate your party for the timings that best suit you.

On arrival at Port Denarau our Welcome Hosts will guide you directly to your boat for a smooth 35-minute journey over to Six Senses Fiji.

The price for a non scheduled speedboat transfer is FJD 900 per way, per boat.

Air Transfers

Helicopter Transfers
For an out-of-the-ordinary arrival experience choose our helicopter option and arrive to the resort in style. With options for transfer direct from Nadi Airport or from Denarau this ten minute transfer promises stunning views of Vitu Levu and of the Mamanuca island group as you soar to Six Senses Fiji.

Prices for helicopter transfers are as follows:

One Way Shared

  • Adult FJD 597 per way, per person
  • Child (aged two to 13 years) FJD 417.90 per way, per child
  • Infant (aged under two years) free of charge if sitting on lap

One Way Private

  • FJD 2,475 per way, per helicopter

Terms and Conditions

  • Pricing is in Fijian Dollars and inclusive of 25 percent government taxes. Transfers are subject to availability and prices may change without notice.
  • Ground transfers to include: meet and greet at airport and WiFi in allocated private vehicles.
  • Additional charges are applicable for surf boards and baby car seats. Please let us know your requirements in advance and we will book accordingly.
  • Transfers from Port Denarau to Six Senses Fiji are to be booked with Six Senses speedboats only, as our resort marina is private.
  • If your flight has been delayed, the speedboat may need to depart to reduce potential delays for other guests. In this circumstance, we may need to combine a private and
  • shared speedboat transfer to ensure that you arrive without any further delays. In this circumstance all guests will be charged the shared speedboat rate per person only.
  • Our speed boats are operated by South Sea Cruises.
  • (*)Please note that shared speedboat transfers may sometimes be subject to a wait time, allowing for delayed flights, refueling of the boats or other guests arrivals. We
  • will always ensure that your departure from the resort allows enough time for your outbound international flight.
  • (**) Non scheduled (private) speedboat journeys may have minimal members of staff onboard.
  • (*) Our team will contact you the day prior to reconfirm transfer times. Alternatively, you can email us on boatbookings-fiji@sixsenses.com a day prior to arrival for the confirmed boat schedule.

Helicopter Terms and Conditions

  • Minimum of two persons per flight.
  • These helicopters are operated by external companies.
  • Helicopters companies in Fiji schedule daily departures on a first come first served basis which can result in waits at the airport.
  • Some delays can also be expected due to weather conditions.
  • Private helicopter bookings are subject to change in departure time based on the above points. A private booking does not guarantee an exact departure time.
  • Shared helicopter transfers may be shared with guests from other resorts.
  • Luggage allowance of 15 kg per person. Excess baggage will be charged at FJD 12 per kg or will be sent on the next flight or left in storage at our hangar.
  • Flights operate during daylight hours only (typically 6:30 am to 5:30 pm, except for during daylight saving).
  • Any cancellation after 14 days of booking and after 5 days of booking within the month of travel will be charged at FJD 65 per person.
  • Any cancellation within 72 hours of travel or no show will be charged the full rate per person

 

Quick Reference

Visa Requirements:
To visit the Fiji Islands a passport valid for at least six months beyond intended period of stay is required. Visas are not required by all nationals from the following countries - Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain, Canada, other EU counties and United States of America. When you arrive at the Fiji Nadi International Airport you must have your return ticket, evidence of accommodation including contact information and proof of funding for your stay.

Single Entry Visa (SEV) - This visa is valid for three months and can be used for a single journey to Fiji only. Multiple Entry Visa (MEV) - This visa is valid for multiple entries to Fiji for a period of 12 months from the date of issue. The duration of stay for each entry should not exceed four months. These documents will allow you to have a Visitor’s Permit, which will be issued by the Immigration Department of Immigration when you arrive.


Airlines Flying to Fiji:

International flights connect Fiji to Australia, New Zealand, Samoa, Tonga, Kiribati, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Singapore, Hong Kong and USA. The airport is also a hub for inter-island travel, with quick, convenient domestic flights throughout the day. Airlines that service Nadi International Airport include Aircalin, Air Nauru, Cathay Pacific Airways, Air Kiribati, Air New Zealand, Air Pacific, Air Vanuatu, Jetstar, Korean Air, Virgin Australia, Qantas Airline, Solomon Airlines, Fiji Airways and for domestic flights Fiji Link, Nothern Air, Pacific Island Air, Coral Air, Heli-Tours Fiji, Island Hoppers.

The airport is the home base of Fiji Airways, as well as serving other local and international airlines.
