TeiTei comprises a pizzeria and cooking school. Stone oven baked pizzas are made fresh for you to dine in, take away or perhaps enjoy while watching a movie in the adjoining outdoor theatre.

Ihaka Peri

Executive Chef

Chef Ihaka grew up in Auckland, spending his school holidays jumping from waterfalls in the Northland region at Ngapuhi. After studying Culinary Arts and Hotel Management, he worked at a number of fine dining establishments before joining a multi award-winning Fijian resort in 2011 as executive chef. After four years his journey continued to Six Senses Samui for the role of executive chef. His next move was to Six Senses Fiji where he developed restaurants, concepts and menus that ignite taste buds and create not just meals, but memories. Ihaka shares his passion with his team, forever encouraging them to express themselves in the kitchen.

Pranil Prasad

Executive Sous Chef

Pranil hails from the small town of Ba on Fiji’s mainland, growing up on the family farm. In 2012 he joined Ihaka Peri at a Fijian resort as Sous Chef. Gaining knowledge from this role, and with training from world class chefs including Shane Watson and Brick Chrysler, Prasad moved to the role of executive chef at Nanuku Auberge resort. Upon Peri’s return to Fiji in 2016 the pair reconnected at Six Senses Fiji. An absolute natural in the kitchen, chef Ihaka praises his executive sous chef who incorporate rich Indian spices and flare, as well as traditional Fijian tastes and methods into every dish he creates.

Filimoni Drau

Sous Chef

Filimoni brings history and culture to the kitchens at Six Senses Fiji. Born on Malolo island in Solevu Village, he is from the Vunavika clan - one of the three main clans in the Mamanuca archipelago. Filimoni brings his passion and knowledge to the RaRa kitchen, while using his island connections to have local fishers bring their delicious catch to the resort.  Drau began his career as a kitchen hand at the same local resort as Ihaka and Pranil, working his way up the ranks to become Peri’s junior sous chef in 2015. From here Filimoni collaborated with Ihaka and Pranil to complete the trio for Six Senses Fiji.
