We aim to minimize our impact on the natural environment while fostering a shared responsibility for its preservation. Our initiatives extend beyond our walls, including educational summer camp sessions where village children and guests engage in plastic waste awareness programs. Guests can also join our Sustainability Director on guided horticulture tours to learn more about our rewilding projects and ancient water harvesting systems, deepening their connection to the region’s rich ecological heritage.

Under the GM’s leadership, an Eco-Sanitization Campaign brought together hosts and the community for clean-up drives and tree planting, reinforcing our dedication to a greener community while heightening awareness among the local community about how to better manage waste. In 2024, we installed trash bins around the nearby lake to facilitate improved waste disposal and collection, and 51 community members joined awareness activities and clean-ups.
Our commitment to social responsibility extends to meaningful initiatives that uplift the local community. We are proud to support skills development and provide a platform for locals to showcase their handcrafted products, which have been passed down through generations, allowing them to sell their items and demonstrate their traditional craftsmanship.

We supply the means to provide clean drinking water to local hospitals and schools. Alongside, we provide education about our wellness and sustainability initiatives through our community engagement programs. In 2024, we installed water purification systems at Barwara’s 30-bed government hospital, ensuring access to clean drinking water and supporting essential healthcare services, and a local Private and Government School, resulting in 645 community members gaining access to clean drinking water.

We are dedicated to promoting well-being and awareness within our local community. A breast cancer awareness campaign, led by a gynaecologist and supported by the village Sarpanch, educates women on early detection, self-examination, and treatment options, empowering them to take charge of their health. We are also working with a supplier of sustainable menstrual products to provide alternatives to plastic-based women’s hygiene products and share information about women’s health and cycles. In 2024, 80 women attended these sessions. In a bid to instil mindfulness from an early age, a yoga session introduces school children to simple postures and breathing techniques, promoting physical and mental well-being in a fun and engaging way.

We are supporting nearby marginalized communities through donation drives to provide vital supplies during the winter months and continue to seek ways to improve quality of life for those less fortunate. In 2024, we provided over 250 individuals with blankets, jumpers, and essentials for a more comfortable winter season.
