Renowned Japanese restaurant Sumosan opens for the 2019/2020 season
Offering its signature sushi and contemporary Japanese dishes, Sumosan will open its first Alpine outpost at the heart of Courchevel 1850 within Six Senses Residences Courchevel. The restaurant and bar provides a welcome antidote to the traditional fondue and raclette, with dishes exclusive to the new site.
The menu will feature signature Sumosan favourites served snow-side, including tuna and truffle rolls, Japanese salmon rice pizza, grilled sea bass with citrus ginger sauce and Furikake-crusted rack of lamb and mustard sauce. Innovative, exclusive dishes will also include black caviar rice pizza and torched sushi, such as squid with calamari ink powder and unagi with unagi cotton candy sauce. The sushi is torched table-side: who said all the fun is on the pistes!
