Six Senses is opening the doors to some of its most unexpected, out-of-the-ordinary suites around the world. From a recording studio on the White Isle to a spy-like example of stealth architecture in the Seychelles, each space is designed with curious consideration for how it feels, how it flows and how it brings guests into the present moment.
Suites, villas and private spaces of Six Senses are hidden hideaways where human connection can thrive. In tune with the ancient alchemy and ethereal energy of their location, each residence features agile amenities and playful touches throughout, all with the intention of reconnecting guests with themselves, others, and the world around them.
In the spiritual home of dance music, behind a hidden door within The Cave Royale Suite at Six Senses Ibiza lies a professional recording studio. Calling out to artists, dreamers, and those looking to connect with the island’s creative spirit to lay down a track, this state-of-the art studio is designed for world-class production with a piano, studio manager, and mixing editor on hand. A line-up of local artists, international stars, and celebrated singer-songwriters are amongst its former guests.
In keeping with its cliffside setting, the adjoining 300 square meter Cave Royale Suite blends raw, natural textures with rich, bohemian interiors. Standout features include an oversized bed, full bar, freestanding bathtub, and high-fidelity audio system, as well as an expansive wrap around terrace, outdoor bathtub and dining area overlooking the Cala Xarraca Bay.
Disguised within the granite rockface of Félicité Island and virtually unseen from the sea, this three-bedroom Seascape Residence at Six Senses Zil Payson is the ultimate playground. Its 733 square meter design demonstrates ‘stealth architecture’ in a fitting tribute to famed author Ian Fleming, who, in Spring 1958, fled London for the shores of the Seychelles in search of inspiration.
The master bedroom on the upper level features its own plunge pool with a transparent base, through which natural light filters playfully to the living area below. Double-height, floor-to-ceiling windows look out across the island’s landscape of palms, Takamaka trees, and granite boulders, reminiscent of Jurassic Park. Beyond lies the dreamy vistas of Praslin, La Digue, and Coco islands.
The two-bedroom Lata Suite at Six Senses Rome features a Mediterranean-style private terrace overlooking the historic Centro Storico neighborhood. Here, guests can bask in the afternoon sunshine or savor sundowners at golden hour accompanied by the sounds of nearby church bells from the San Marcello al Corso Church.
Inside, the spacious 222 square meter space offers his and hers bathrooms, a kitchenette and a generous living space with its own secondary access for service staff allowing romantic dinners to be prepared and served within the suite. Unique works of Italian artwork adorn the walls, while the one-of-kind interior design by Patricia Urquiola is featured throughout.
Guests of The Rock Retreat at Six Senses Ninh Van Bay can embrace their inner child as they plunge into their own private infinity pool from its swirling water slide. Three master bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms, palatially accommodate up to nine guests (seven adults with two children) making the 770 square meter Rock Retreat a fitting option for families, friends, or friends that feel like family.
Facing west towards the sunset, the retreat’s cluster of pavilions and expansive wraparound sundeck are positioned within their own private bay, accessed only by speedboat. There's also an outdoor bathtub, combined dining and yoga sala, sunbathing sofas, and for grown-ups only, an in-villa wine cellar.
The Bodhi Suite at Six Senses Vana is set within the forested sanctuary of Six Senses’ dedicated wellness retreat at the foothills of the Himalayas. Named after the sacred fig tree under which the Buddha is believed to have attained enlightenment, the suite features an en-suite meditation room, a space holding space for stillness, solitude, and simply being. Here, beneath a hand-painted mural of the Buddha, curated and blessed by monks themselves, guests can bathe in the frequency of singing bowls, practice mindfulness or take a private treatment from one of Vana’s expert practitioners or ayurvedic doctors.
Each guest at Six Senses Vana follows a personal wellness journey, grounded in the time-honored traditions of Ayurveda, Tibetan Healing, Natural Therapies, and India’s yogic wisdom, paired with Six Senses’ high-tech, high-touch philosophy.
Whether through yoga or mindful movement, raag therapy to the soft vibrations of the flute or resting in stillness, guests are encouraged to reconnect on their own terms, gently setting aside the distractions of digital devices to make space for deeper connection. Guests are provided with elegant kurta pajamas to wear for the duration of their stay as a visual representation Vana’s guiding principle that all enter as equal.
