January 19, 2023 - From February 27, the Culinary Sensation at Six Senses Ninh Van Bay will host some of the world's finest and Michelin-starred chefs, celebrating food with a sustainable twist, served up with water from our very own Crystal Water Plant.
From Monday February 27 to Friday March 3, 2023, Six Senses Ninh Van Bay is excited to reveal its inaugural Culinary Sensation event. During this time, you can enjoy the vibrancy of food and beverage with a sustainable twist. Menus will be created by some of the world’s finest chefs, including Germany's youngest female Michelin-starred Chef Julia Komp of Sahila in Cologne; Chef Patron Quang Dung of Chapter Dining and Grill in Hanoi; and Executive Chef Yusuf Kızılırmak of Six Senses Kocataş Mansions, Istanbul.
The culinary series will begin with a special Opening Ceremony on Monday, February 27, 2023. On Tuesday, February 28, our own Executive Chef Tim Goddard will host a thoughtfully curated, plant-based, 6-hand, 6-course dinner, where each guest chef will contribute a unique selection of plant-based dishes, portraying their commitment to sustainability. During the remainder of the week, we’ll be shining the spotlight on each guest chef in turn for a unique culinary offering including a Vietnamese local market visit with Chef Dung followed by lunch at The Farmhouse, a Turkish masterclass by Chef Yusuf, and a plant-based cooking class by Executive Chef Tim.
As part of our sustainability resources at our newly opened Ninh Van Greens, the Crystal Water Plant serves as a lab to showcase the resort’s drinking water production. Why not join a tour to discover how we make our own pure, clean, plastic-free, and waste-free drinking water for the resort? You’ll observe the molecular structure of water under a microscope and see the connection between your thoughts and the water sample to learn about the power of positive thinking!
As part of our group-wide journey to plastic freedom, Six Senses Ninh Van Bay produces all drinking water in reusable bottles at the Crystal Water Plant and you can also purchase crystal gem water bottles to take home.
Book our Culinary Sensation at least 30 days in advance to combine with our Early Booking offer and enjoy 10 percent savings on the Best Flexible Rate at Six Senses Ninh Van Bay.
