March 17, 2026 - Follow your curiosity deeper into the natural world by foraging your own feast in Ibiza and waking to the dawn chorus in Cambodia. In Japan, welcome spring with cherry sips beneath the delicate sakura blossom
In the heart of Ibiza, Santa Gertrudis unfurls lush and green. Home to Can Tanca farm, its 12 hectares burst with seasonal Mediterranean vegetables and sun-warmed fruit that feed the kitchens at Six Senses Ibiza. It’s also a place to feed your curiosity.
Rediscover nature’s rhythm with a hands-on exploration for the whole family, feet and fingers in the farm’s rich earth. Harvest Experience at the Farm invites you to pick local ingredients and turn them into a hearty Ibizan farm-to-fork brunch. Begin with a guided tour and the story of how it all began. Unearth the secrets of the soil and find out more about the plants, herbs, flowers, and seeds that thrive here before sitting down to your hand-foraged feast, topped up with a sizzling sobrasada (Balearic sausage) or two.
On your plate, you’ll taste the spirit of Ibiza and dig into the island’s culinary roots. More seasonal, organic bounty awaits at the Farmers’ Market and in your pick-me-up juices and cocktails at the Pharmacy Bar.

Vacations are made for switching off your alarm clock. At Six Senses Krabey Island, nature provides its own gentle wake-up call: the captivating chorus of feathered friends. Nearly 50 bird species call our lush canopy home, from Oriental pied hornbills and kingfishers to thrushes, bulbuls, and flycatchers. Darting in and out of the trees, the flock are a sight and sound to behold.
Discover them up close in our new guided birdwatching session, led by a knowledgeable conservationist. Bring your natural curiosity. We’ll provide binoculars, access to a camera if you need it, and a 50-species checklist to help you track your sightings.
Early birds can join us at 7:00 am, while those who prefer a slower start may opt for the 3:00 pm session. Each experience lasts around 90 minutes and runs on selected dates, just ask your Guest Experience Maker (GEM) for details. It’s island life at its most unhurried, inviting you to slow down and reconnect with nature, one bird at a time.
Enjoy nature for longer, delicious daily dining, and speedboat transfers with our Stay Longer with Half Board offer.
If your travels take you to Six Senses Kyoto in the coming weeks, you may glimpse the ephemeral cherry blossoms (sakura), which typically flower from the last week of March through the first two weeks of April. Wander the city in search of their blooms, or retreat to the hush of the hotel’s inner courtyard garden for a quieter, more intimate way to experience their magic away from the crowds.
Sip an expertly crafted cherry cocktail in honor of the season at Nine Tails Bar and reflect on where your curiosity will lead you next. The city awaits with our Explore Kyoto offer.
