January 20, 2026 - If recent days have felt too full or far from center, step into Six Senses Krabey Island or Six Senses Vana, where each day moves with ease and invites you to notice the subtle rhythms around you.
There are places you arrive at in this world not knowing how much you needed them. If the new year is already moving too fast, we have two retreats that heal by simply being.
As our only dedicated wellness retreat, Six Senses Vana offers a pause that feels both timely and timeless. Rest lives in many forms. It could be a stretch at sunrise under the sal trees, or a bowl of warm, grounding food followed by a deep oil treatment. All these small, everyday rituals and practices feel deeply nourishing.
At the Alchemy and Apothecary Bar, renewal begins with your hands, as you mix and blend as grandmothers once did, guided by feel rather than formula. A pinch of this, a spoon of that, and what you create becomes a keepsake and reminder that healing lives in the familiar.
In the Cuisine Classes, the same principle shows itself in food. As you roll dough and grind spices, discover how a handful of herbs can support digestion and vitality.
Many describe Aqua Moves as a conversation between warm water and the nervous system as movement softens and floating releases tension, so that stretches feel lighter and breath flows freer.
And then there is The Cave. The quiet here is ancient. Light and sound fade, and the edges of the world melt. Even a few moments become part of a story that has been unfolding for generation and a space where stillness restores. Stay five to nine nights on a Wellness Immersion complete with Ayurveda. Yoga, Tibetan Medicine, and Natural Healing Therapies.
Bring your attention to the present and the embrace of an island that has its own unique energetic flow. In the early morning, when the forest is still breathing mist, join us as we step into the jungle with woven baskets to gather herbs and spices, guided by the wisdom of Khmer traditions. Each carries its own story. Kaffir lime leaves, sharp and fresh, clear the mind. Ginger and galangal, hidden beneath the soft earth, warm the body. Fragrant lemongrass calms the heart.
At the Alchemy Bar, the table fills with color. Green leaves, bright roots, and curls of citrus are peeled, slowly cut, crushed, and blended to release the aroma of the forest. The herbs are then wrapped in soft cotton cloth and shaped into warm herbal compresses, ready for Ayurvedic treatments that soothe muscles and awaken the body’s natural healing.
What’s more, when spending time in the public spaces at Six Senses Krabey Island, you may prefer a moment to yourself. If you’re deep in thought, simply wear our red krama, a traditional Khmer scarf we call the Silence Retreat. When the krama is on, our hosts know to give you space and allow your moment of calm to continue uninterrupted.
You’ll also see the Disconnection Box on your desk, for taking the first step towards a digital detox. Instead, keep your attention on the magic of a sunset, the call of a hornbill, a langur crossing the path, or even the presence of your loved ones.
Choose a five-night reset with our Inner Harmony Journey, which combines therapeutic treatments and calming practices including the Alchemy Bar and Ayurvedic consultations.
