April 7, 2026 - We love your wild side. Birds and bees. Herbs and bears. And a few Climate Warriors in the making. In the parks of London and the mountains above Crans-Montana, spring awakens with a buzz and a roar. Come and see what’s stirring and buzzing
You know we’re serious about plants when we hire our own herbalists. Join our experts at Six Senses London on a Root to Remedy adventure through nearby Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. Spot medicinal plants and fungi and learn their traditional uses for food and well-being.
Little ones can head out on a bear hunt. Young detectives follow clues through the streets of Paddington to rescue the eponymous bear in time for tea with King Charles III. Marmalade and mayhem ensue.
Funded by your stays at Six Senses Crans-Montana, our Beautiful Bees experience offers a glimpse into high-altitude hive preservation. Up where the Alpine air is clear, suit up and step into the honeycomb world of our four-winged friends. Explore how our garden hives contribute to sustainable agriculture, local biodiversity, and our own raw altitude honey supply. You’ll notice it tastes like the very flowers you just walked past.
Talking of walking, put your best foot forward on a Foodie Trek or Trail to scenic summits. If you run out of puff among the peaks, pause for a traditional Valaisan aperitif, a local bite, or a warming drink. As you descend back to earth, our spa team will be waiting to soothe tired legs with a restorative massage or time in the stretch pod.
Through our Grow With Six Senses activities, we’ve learned that kids don’t need to be taught how to connect with nature. They simply play in it. They know they’re part of it.
This insight shaped our Climate Warriors program, now running across our resorts. Each experience is tailored to the setting and natural resources – beach, mountain, jungle, or forest, for example – and unfolds in three parts.
First, children learn about climate change and the connection between people and the environment, through quizzes, games, arts, and experiments. Next, they delve into the solutions in action at our properties, from renewables to compost and upcycling. Finally, they step into their role as “part of the solution”, experimenting with what they can do to shape the future.
“Activities are hands-on, often with a task, a tool, and an outcome, ending with a ‘look what I’ve done today’ moment, all in a new setting or environment that they might not experience in their day-to-day lives,” explains Jennifer Klar, Director of Corporate Sustainability. “My three watchwords for our little warriors would be awareness, fun, and change. I’d love to think that the feeling of being part of something continues long past their vacation.”
