Physiotherapy for Pain Management and Pain Prevention

Today’s long hours on desk jobs with busy and stressful lives, body and muscle tensions built-up can cause problems like frequent headaches, neck, back and shoulder pain are just some of the physical symptoms among them. If left untreated and conditions becomes chronic, medications and surgeries might be resulted when managing pain. The Physio session will start with a lifestyle assessment on the root cause of the condition. This is an important part of the physiotherapy to ensure you that you will get the best care and advice to treat the symptoms. The treatment will be a combination of manual massage techniques, body postural corrections, exercises and stretches for pain management. A do-it-yourself guidance and instruction will be provided for pain prevention at the comforts of your home after the session.

Myofascial Release Therapy 

This massage is focused on releasing the tension in your body. Through a combination of deep tissue massage techniques or myofascial release techniques it will release the knots in the muscles that have been causing the pain in your neck, back and shoulders or any part of the body. The session can be treated on specific areas of the body.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage

This massage is a form of gentle massage that encourages the movement of lymph fluids around the body. The fluid in the lymphatic system helps remove water and toxins from the bodily tissues. Lymphatic massage can reduce swelling and improve circulation throughout the lymphatic system.
