Wellness is a love affair that has taken the world by storm, coming into our lives and changing the way we view ourselves, and the world around us, forever. And then, just as love, wellness is so much more than what we see. Even while knowing this, no one holds all the knowledge of which wellness offerings and concepts out there are right for each person.
Of course there are some common themes, such as avoiding sugars and refined food, trying not to stress too much and working with mindful practices, moving on a daily basis – any kind of movement – and improving sleep quality. But these concepts are difficult to put into practice on a daily basis and still might not be enough.
We have engaged some amazing experts to help us develop the best food, mindful experiences, engaging movement practices and exceptional sleep infrastructure in the hotel rooms. What is beautiful about it is that our guests don’t actually need to take any action. The food that they eat will be seasonal, local, as organic as possible and made from scratch with love. Weather it is a pizza, hamburger or a superfood vegetarian dish – the ingredients will be the absolute best possible for them. And they might also get the best night’s sleep they ever had without doing anything, simply due to the organic bed that breathes and minimizes temperature shifts during the night as well as the sleep light by their bed.
Our environment is one of rejuvenation, relaxation, and education. When they do not have all the daily distractions of their lives, guests may be able to open up and learn and become healthier. This will allow them to enjoy their stay but also take something with them, as it’s important to create this wellness environment at home as well. That’s why we help educate and influence guests to create the best conditions to promote sleep, eat food from the best sources to build them up and incorporate the right kind of movement and exercise to not just avoid being ill but start to feel optimally well.
What we have discovered in the last couple of years, which incidentally much of humanity has known for thousands of years, is that our so called science is just part of the picture. It’s an important part by all means, but all the things we cannot see or touch are just real as the things we can. While science has attempted to divide our bodies into parts and isolate them from each other, thinking with the best of intentions that this was the best way to go, we have forgotten how everything is connected.
For example, if you have a headache, it might have nothing to do with your head. Taking a pill to alleviate the headache might be the last thing you should do. If your back is hurting, it might be a problem with your foot. Or that you stress too much. So, treating the back might be a moot point if you don’t understand what’s causing the pain.
This is where wellness comes in, yet it is still not the complete picture.
Everything is connected. Quantum physics has shown that just because you can’t see something; it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. Have you ever been thinking about someone when your phone rings and it’s them? Or been to somewhere new yet had a sense of déjà vu? A particle does not have to be material; it can also be a wavelength. Particles communicate with each other even if they are over 14 miles apart. Everything in the universe, human or not, broadcasts a distinct energy pattern, and this energy carries information. It is all connected.
Indigenous populations in ancestral territories around the world have never lost this knowledge, but somewhere down the road we did.
We need to tap into the energy field of information around us and reprogram it. Every trauma we have had in our lives impacts our mind and body. In fact many of our health problems are actually caused by unhealed emotions and constant overstimulation However, it is possible to change our crippling internal narratives by repairing our overactive fight-or-flight system, which controls the response to danger and is involved in regulating digestion, mood, sexuality, energy and the immune system.
Psychologists have tried to dig deep into traumas for decades, without finding that key that will unlock the trauma and release it. Medicine men and shamans have known this skill for thousand and thousands of years.
Energy medicine is where we can go into the information field that surrounds every person, look at where in the field the trauma sits, look at its origin and release the tension where it grips hold. This enables them to break free from the hold into a brighter future.
We have engaged expert shamans in our locations to help our guests explore the field of energy medicine. The good thing about it is that it can do no harm, only good. It can open up a door to what not only is probable, but what is possible. For example, you can’t change the story of your life until you clear the energy field, because this is where toxic emotions are stored. For the longest time people have been dismissed for their emotions. But you can’t heal until you recognize that they are real, and then honor, respect, and process them. We want to hear your story and help you write a better narrative
This, together with our approach to personalized wellness, where we can measure biomarkers, sleep, skin and emotions, means that we can help each person to their next step of what is possible uniquely for them. Techniques might range from daily hikes and immersion in nature to yoga, massage, oxygen altitude-training sessions, LED therapy and IV nutrient drips, combined with detoxifying body-work, and a diet high in phytonutrients. Within a few days, the brain fog will clear, sleeping becomes sounder, skin tone improves and energy levels increase.
Our vision is about reconnection. We say that it is about reconnection to yourself, others and the world around you. This vision is more profound than we perhaps ever knew from the beginning, and must have been downloaded from the field. Reconnection is the key to an optimal life, and the path there is often a road less traveled and very individual, but very rewarding.
