August 11, 2026 - Some of the hardest workers at our resorts are our soft toy mascots. From Blacknose sheep to butterflies, stingrays, and buffaloes, every purchase makes a difference for nature and local communities.
Through our Regenerative Impact Fund, we give back to the places that welcome us. By adopting the property’s mascot, you champion 135 projects across our destinations. Meet our latest locals.
He’s woolly, he’s fluffy, and he’s just moved into Six Senses Crans-Montana. If you haven’t guessed yet, our newest arrival is a Valais Blacknose sheep, named Léonard.
Recognizable by their distinctive black faces and thick white fleeces, these iconic sheep have grazed the meadows of the Swiss Alps for centuries. Cute as they are, they do a lot more than simply look adorable. As they roam, they naturally crop the grasslands, reducing the need for mechanical mowing while enriching the soil and creating healthier habitats for wildflowers, insects, pollinators, and other Alpine wildlife.
During the summer months, Léonard and three of his curly-haired friends will be grazing beside Wild Cabin. Pop along to say hello and learn about their important role in managing the landscape.
You’ll also spot Léonard in every guest room. Adopt him, and your purchase adds to the resort’s Regenerative Impact Fund, supporting initiatives such as OPPAL, which protects pastures and encourages peaceful coexistence between shepherds’ flocks and Alpine predators.
Fluttering across Europe to Six Senses London, the spotlight falls on some of Britain’s smallest VIPs – gossamer delicate butterflies. As pollinators face growing pressure from habitat loss, we work alongside local organizations to help restore pollinator corridors, creating connected green spaces where busy bees and butterflies can do what they do best: pollinate.
Guests can adopt one of four knitted butterfly mascots, each inspired by a native species under increasing threat, including the Large Blue, Purple Emperor, Brimstone, and Green Hairstreak. Every purchase helps fund conservation and urban rewilding projects that support biodiversity across the English capital, proving that even in one of the world’s busiest cities, nature can still bloom and flourish.
On the shores of the Red Sea at Six Senses AMAALA, meet our ethereal mascot Nouri, a blue-spotted stingray.
As regular visitors to the resort’s lagoon, you’ll spot these rays gliding gracefully through the shallow coastal waters and weaving between mangrove roots that provide shelter, food, and vital nursery habitats for a multitude of ocean life.
Adopting Nouri contributes to protecting and understanding the mangrove forest we call home, a vibrant and vital marine ecosystem.
Meanwhile, at Six Senses Krabey Island our mascot Bong Sok is a gentle buffalo inspired by local folklore. Legend has it that a farmer once lost his buffalo on the mainland, only to find it again on the small island that became known as Koh Krabey, or Buffalo Island. Krabey means buffalo in Khmer.
Today, Bong Sok represents our commitment to the island and neighboring communities. Every purchase assists projects ranging from improved access to clean water and local school funding to wildlife research, biodiversity monitoring, and waste reduction.
Whether grazing Alpine meadows, protecting pollinators, safeguarding biodiverse coastlines, or community service, our gentle mascots support powerful initiatives across the globe. Sometimes, doing good starts with a simple adoption.
