Ready. Set. Grow.

September 8, 2026 - Family vacations are a juggling act: parents need rest, kids want action. Grow With Six Senses makes room for both, keeping children happily busy while giving grown-ups time to themselves.

  • A young guest observes a baby sea turtle making its way across the sand toward the ocean, highlighting Six Senses’ commitment to nature and local wildlife conservation.
  • Living space with expansive windows, light wood floors, abstract art, beige sectional sofa with vibrant pillows, overlooking a tranquil green garden.
  • Guests explore vibrant coral reefs and marine life in clear water, with gentle sunlight illuminating the underwater landscape.
  • Guests approach a thatched-roof villa embraced by tropical greenery, with mature trees and vibrant plants throughout the serene landscape.

From tiny tots to independent teens, our dedicated children’s clubs and activities take fun as the starting point, naturally weaving in the six dimensions of wellness: physical, emotional, social, environmental, intellectual, and spiritual. Grow With Six Senses means you can finish your chapter or slip off to the spa knowing your little ones are busy making friends and discoveries. Here are a few ways to let them loose.

Himalayan happiness in India

In the Himalayan foothills, Six Senses Vana offers larger accommodations for families and a different rhythm for little ones and adults. While parents follow their personal wellness journey, the team takes time to understand each young guest’s interests and preferences, creating an environment where children feel comfortable trying something new.

Activities might include yoga or games in the Sports Arena, baking, clay modeling, gardening, and nature walks. Children pick up skills while making new friends and learning the importance of kindness and patience.

Youngsters are also immersed in India’s traditions, creating colorful rangoli, making decorative torans, joining welcome ceremonies, listening to music and Om chanting, or tending the garden and discovering the natural world.

With Two- and Three-Bed Casas as well as the connecting Vana Suite waiting to welcome families, every generation can enjoy time to recharge, in their own way.

Ocean guardians in Laamu

Some kids collect souvenirs. Others come home with stories about their encounters with sea turtles and a marine biology certificate.

At Six Senses Laamu, curious young explorers from 7 to 12 can step into the world of real marine scientists through the Junior Marine Biology program, created with the Maldives Underwater Initiative (MUI). The journey begins with questions. Why do sea turtles return to the same beaches year after year? How do dolphins communicate? What makes a coral reef thrive? Children will then investigate how sea turtles, dolphins, coral reefs, manta rays, seagrass meadows, and reef fish all play their part in the Maldives’ marine ecosystem.

Nature does half the teaching, which is usually the best way. A morning might start in the MUI Marine Lab, examining coral fragments or learning how scientists monitor reef health. Later, mask and snorkel on, young guests head into the lagoon to spot the species they’ve just been studying, conduct experiments, and collect observations.

By seeing the ocean through a scientist’s eyes, children return home with something far more memorable than a souvenir: lasting curiosity about the world beneath the surface and their very own fish on the wall.

Little warriors in Samui

At Six Senses Samui, young guests are invited to channel their energy into our new Little Muay Thai Warriors experience. This playful introduction teaches children the basics through age-appropriate exercises and games. Along the way, they develop coordination and confidence while learning about an important part of Thai culture.

Developed centuries ago as a form of self-defense, Muay Thai is known as the “Art of Eight Limbs” because it uses fists, elbows, knees, and feet. It’s an energetic introduction to Thailand’s national sport, leaving little warriors with new moves and plenty of stories to tell later.

Creative minds and hands in Ibiza

Creativity takes center stage at Six Senses Ibiza, where hands-on workshops encourage children to experiment. Kinetic sand stations invite little hands and big imaginations to build and sculpt using a range of tools and molds, while the Herbarium activity turns the resort into an outdoor classroom, collecting flowers and leaves to learn about local plants.

Little ones craft natural soaps shaped like plants and seashells, choosing their favorite colors and fragrances. They can also personalize slippers with kaleidoscopic tie-dye designs or transform old paper into new, hand-decorated notebooks. With nature as both playground and classroom, children discover that creativity and sustainability go hand in hand.

Island adventures in Fiji

For families diving into Six Senses Fiji, adventure is always just around the corner or under the next wave. Treasure hunts, scavenger hunts, and racing challenges encourage problem-solving and plenty of laughter as children work to solve clues together. Imagination comes alive through pirate adventures, costume parades, and island stories. The kids’ club, designed like a Fijian fort, is ready-made for curious explorers.

For budding marine lovers, the Discover the Reef experience, part of the Climate Warriors program, introduces children to Fiji’s remarkable marine world and the importance of protecting it. Children aged 6 to 13 pick up a passport and complete challenges that include climate change bingo, papermaking, and guided reef snorkeling.
