October 7, 2019 - With a home from home in the Austrian Tyrol, family trips to the mountains are never a struggle. There’s plenty of action to keep the whole family entertained during the day, and your own piece of the Alps to come back to at night.
Owning a residence at Six Senses Residences Kitzbuehel Alps means enjoying a lifestyle, and experiencing the very best of personalized services. From ski valets to private in-residence dining and incomparable wellness programming to private parties in the owner’s lounge, everything is on hand to maximize your time with loved ones.
Future owners can select from four- to five-bedroom chalets and also one- to four-bedroom apartments. All privately-owned units can be placed into the resort’s rental pool. Architecture by IAW fuses with the artistic craftsmanship of master designer Martin Brudnizki to create a modern interpretation of classic Austrian style and warm and stylishly comfortable atmosphere. Each residence cleverly incorporates natural light and materials along with spaces connecting from indoors to out so you actually feel part of the surrounding Alpine high moor and world of wonders beyond.
Within the resort there are also 77 sumptuously-appointed guest rooms and suites, multiple restaurants featuring organic and local ingredients and a Six Senses Spa spanning across three levels with an indoor pool and cascading heated outdoor rock pools. Residences are built around a natural Alpine stream, which provides the entire resort with pure and clean mountain spring water and helps to make this the ultimate hideaway retreat.
You can’t talk about the Kitzbuehel region without raving about its world-class ski slopes. In fact it hosts the most iconic World Cup downhill race in the world, the spectacular Hahnenkamm. For seasoned pros or first-timers, everything is really well maintained (we’re loving the lifts with heated seats). Because of the northwestern location, there’s a guarantee of snow between December and April, which means you can ski 180 days a year. Also, all the slopes together offer a total length of 179 kilometers!
If you’re wondering what there is to do for non-skiers while the rest of the family fly down the slopes, there’s a host of amazing activities from sledging to skidoos and sleigh rides to balloon rides. It is an Alpine Mecca for entertainment, dining and shopping. From November 24 to December 25, the town center is transformed into a festive scene and most magical Christmas market in the Alps.
An important thing to note is that, unlike some resorts, Kitzbuehel is a charming year-round town. The pretty medieval houses painted in all colors of the rainbow lining the cobbled streets are a sign of its centuries of history and traditions. Sunbathers, swimmers and sports enthusiasts love the region in the summer, and the 1,000 kilometers of trails make this a hiker’s and nature-lover’s paradise.
Six Senses Kitzbuehel Alps is located 90 minutes by car from Munich, Salzburg and Innsbruck airports.
